Warrior softball players wrapped up a strong season with a playoff appearance and a promising future - click to learn more.
The youthful Del Norte High softball team lost Friday to Analy High, 5-1, in the quarterfinals of the North Coast Section Division 4 playoffs.
The game was tight until the top of the fifth inning, when Analy scored four runs to put the game away.
The Warriors will say goodbye to just four seniors on this year’s squad – Isabella Arriola, Bliss Blackburn, Tatum Diaz, and Deja Travis. The team featured three juniors, four sophomores, and a pair of freshmen on the roster.
Del Norte finished with a 16-10 overall record.
