Del Norte cross-country wrapped up its season with strong finishes from the girls' and the boys’ team—click for more highlights!
The Del Norte High cross-country season closed this week, with senior Zakayla Robinson posting the best Warrior finish at the Humboldt-Del Norte League Championships.
Robinson completed the 5,000-meter girls’ race in 23 minutes, 17 seconds to take 11th place at the Arcata Marsh course.
On the boys’ side, Luke Padilla led the way for Del Norte, finishing in 14th place with a time of 18:29. Teammate Hoyt Walker took 20th place in 19:29, with Michael Haapala right behind in 21st position with a time of 20:31. Braden Padilla rounded out the Warrior contingent in 21:46.
